Job Duties:

Daily care for livestock

Milking cows in two milking per day

Following Standard Operating Procedures for milk set-up and take-down, milking procedure, and pressure washing in holding area and dairy parlour walls.

Maintaining milk quality by recognizing udder infection, testing with in parlour milk test and taking clean samples for further testing.

Treatment of udder with mastitis drugs administered in manufacturer’s instructions and ensuring treatments are recorded.

Assisting with sorting and trailering cows between outside pens and the barn.

Completing assigned tasks for general barn clean up and outside yard work.

Performing other farm duties.

Working Hours: 40-60 hours per week, varying schedule, and may be required to work extended hours, early mornings, evenings, weekends, split shifts with breaks in between.

Wage: $17.50-22.00/hour depending on experience, skills and performance

Work Location: near Delisle, SK

Language at workplace: English

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: physically demanding; attention to detail; combination of sitting, standing, walking; overtime required; outside work; rural area.

Employment Requirements:

Experience Requirement: 1 year of relevant experience.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
