Job requirements:

Language: English

Experience: 5 years of combined experience in landscaping and supervising workers

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg (50 lbs), Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Supervision: 5-10 people

Area of specialization: Tree service and landscaping

Additional Requirements: Must be able and willing to obtain a driver's license before commencing employment. Must provide a clean driving record.

Duties:

· Organize, plan, and supervise daily job site activities for a crew, ensuring projects meet design specifications and timelines.

· Perform and oversee installation of hardscape (patios, walls) and softscape (sod, trees, shrubs, lighting).

· Train, motivate, and supervise crew members; handle daily documentation, including timesheets, site reports, and safety paperwork between the company’s management and the workers.

· Ensure all work meets quality standards and enforce strict Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies.

· Contribute to the farm's overall success and reputation.

· May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

· May be required to safely operate and maintain machinery, such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks with trailers.

· Winter duties include snow removal, pruning, maintenance, and shop work.
