Job Details: 

Location: 203 Glenn Hawthrone, Mississauga, Ontario, L5R 2M4, Canada 

Salary: $22.50/Hour 

Hours: 35 to 40 Hours per week 

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time with Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Day and Weekend shifts. 

Start Date: As soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. 

Asset languages: Punjabi as patient has cognitive impairment disability  

Work site environment: Non-smoking 

Work setting: Employer's home 

Responsibilities 

• Assisting patient with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene; 

• Helping patient with mobility and transfers also the patient safety moves from bed to chair, assisting walking and using mobility aids; 

• Providing companionship and emotional support to patients, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment; 

• Documenting and reporting on patient care, including any changes in condition, to the healthcare team; 

• Plan and prepare meals and special diets or assist in feeding client;  

• Ensuring cleanliness and safety within the patient’s living space, including changing bed linens and maintaining a tidy environment. do laundry and washing dishes; 

• Collaborating with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care; 

• Supporting the rehabilitation process by encouraging patients to participate in their therapeutic exercises and activities, and 

• Supporting family members by educating them on the patient's needs, helping them understand how to assist with care.
