Retail Store Supervisor

South Asian Mart is looking for permanent full-time Retail Store Supervisor who could join immediately. The following are the details for the job.

Location: 100 Ilsley Avenue suite K, Dartmouth, NS, B3B 1L3

Work setting: Urban area

Compensation: $21.80 per hour

Work hours: 35 hours per week

Terms: Permanent, Full Time

Language of Work: English

Job duties and responsibilities

·         Assign sales workers to duties

·         Hire and train or arrange for training of staff

·         Authorize payments by cheque

·         Authorize return of merchandise

·         Establish work schedules

·         Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

·         Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

·         Organize and maintain inventory

·         Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

·         Manage cash

·         Conduct performance reviews

Requirements

·         Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

·         2 years to less than 3 years
