About the Role

Canco #117 is hiring Kitchen Helpers to support our kitchen operations for the upcoming season. This is an on-site position with relocation costs covered by the employer. If you are motivated, reliable, and willing to learn, we are ready to train you.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sharpen kitchen knives
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit

Qualifications

• No formal education or certification required.
• No prior experience necessary – training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• No Language Requirement
