Position Title: Dairy Herdsperson

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as Dairy Herdsperson. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to develop hands on experience in dairy farm operations and contribute to our farm’s success.

Job Duties
• Milking
• Feeding
• Calf care
• Assist with artificial Insemination
• Detect and Treat disease and health problems in herd
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Cleaning of barns and pens
• General Farm work as required

Required Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of dairy/agriculture experience
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience
• Strong work ethic, dependable, and punctual
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• Team player with good communication skills in English

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time.
Language of work: English; Sufficient English required to take Instruction due to operation of equipment.
Wage: $19.50 CAD, hourly.
Hours: 45-55 hrs/week
Location of work: Delta, BC
