Child Caregiver- Private Home

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver (Nanny) to provide attentive, nurturing, and engaging care in a private home setting. This role involves supporting children's daily routines, fostering their development, and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for caregiving, experience working with children, and a proactive approach to creating a positive atmosphere for the children’s growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking.

• Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, homework help, and bedtime preparations.

• Engage children in educational activities, play, teaching moments, and developmental exercises to promote learning and social skills.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing regular cleaning tasks related to children’s spaces and belongings.

• Monitor children’s safety at all times, ensuring a secure environment both indoors and outdoors.

• Driving children to and from activities.

• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about daily activities, progress, and any concerns that arise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity.

• Strong skills in cooking and meal preparation suitable for children’s nutritional requirements.

• Ability to perform cleaning duties related to child care areas efficiently.

• Compassionate, patient, energetic, and proactive attitude toward caregiving.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers.

• Own reliable vehicle and valid Canadian drivers license an asset.

• Relevant certifications in caregiving or child development are a plus but not mandatory.
