Child Caregiver- Private Home

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and compassionate child caregiver (nanny) to provide quality care in a private home setting for our three children. This role involves supporting our children's daily routines, fostering their development, and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for caregiving, experience working with children, and a proactive approach to creating a positive atmosphere for the children’s growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Prepare kid friendly meals and snacks, including meal planning and possibly family cooking.

• Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, homework help, and bedtime.

• Engage children in educational activities, play, teaching moments, and developmental exercises to promote learning and growth.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing regular cleaning tasks related to children’s spaces and belongings. No deep cleaning required.

• Monitor children’s safety at all times.

• Driving children to and from activities as required with own vehicle.

• Communicate regularly with parents about daily activities, progress, and any concerns that arise while on the job.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children an asset.

• Strong skills in cooking and meal preparation suitable for children’s nutritional requirements.

• Ability to perform cleaning duties related to child care areas.

• Compassionate, patient, energetic, and fun attitude toward caregiving.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers. Able to communicate over text message in English.

• Own reliable vehicle and valid Canadian drivers license an asset.

• Relevant certifications in caregiving or child development are a plus but not mandatory.
