Job Duties

1. Assist with the manual or machine milking process, ensuring cows are milked efficiently, hygienically, and gently.
2. Maintain cleanliness of milking machines, pipelines, and barns to prevent infections and ensure hygiene standards.
3. Observe cows for signs of illness or distress, report issues to farm management, and assist with basic health checks.
4. Support with caring for newborn calves, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health.
5. Regularly clean and remove manure from barns and pens to maintain a clean environment.
6. Support with minor repairs, fencing, and general upkeep of the dairy facilities.
7. Assist with tasks such as bedding changes, pasture rotation, or equipment cleaning during different seasons.

Required Experience:
Prior agriculture experience is preferred however employer is willing to train
Good work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well with others.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
Language of work: English
Language: Worker most have sufficient English to be able to take instructions for safe operation of equipment.
Wage: 18.25 per hour
Hours: 40 - 50 per week
