early childhood educator (ECE) assistant

Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Childcare Educator Assistant to support our Early Childhood Educators in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate must have experience working in a Reggio Emilia-inspired childcare setting and be passionate about child-led learning.

Responsibilities

* Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children.
* Support daily routines, play-based learning, and classroom activities.
* Assist in implementing a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with educators, families, and the Centre Director.
* Follow all New Brunswick licensing regulations and centre policies.

Qualifications

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 2-3 years experience working in a licensed childcare centre.
* Reggio Emilia experience is required.
* Valid First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

* Bengali language skill is an asset.
