Education:

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Capable to communicate in English

Experience:

Must have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Report on the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal functionality.
  2. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and network devices.
  3. Maintain and update a comprehensive log of technical issues and corresponding solutions to support future troubleshooting efforts.
  4. Contribute to the enhancement and redesign of software applications and related systems.
  5. Perform system updates, patching, and configuration management
  6. Respond to users experiencing difficulties with the computer.
  7. Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  8. Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  9. Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  10. Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
  11. Ensure smooth operation of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise tools.
  12. Assist in user account creation, permission management, and group policy administration.
  13. Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  14. Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  15. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  16. Provide customer service.
  17. Manage incidents.
  18. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
